clipboard with paper and a black pen open and resting on the paperAfter adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD), all nations that have signed this legislation have committed to ensure the rights of the people with disabilities within their own countries.

We the people with disabilities acknowledge that many parties are now talking about inclusion of people with disabilities through "right-thing-to-do" based approaches but there are still lot of measures they need to take, most especially with regard to the implementation process for the United Nations CRPD.

We are challenging World Bank President Mr. Robert Zoellick, to consider the global disability community's call for the World Bank to integrate disability as a component into its upcoming reviewed safeguard policies. We'll be challenging him to bring his true spirit and his parties' full political will to the global disability rights movement.
